2026 China International Elevator Exhibition Held in Guangzhou, with Over a Thousand Enterprises Exhibiting

China News Service, Guangdong News, May 23 (Reporter Cai Minjie) — The 2026 China International Elevator Exhibition recently opened in Guangzhou. This year's exhibition gathered more than 1,000 global elevator brand enterprises. Elevator complete machine brands such as Otis and Hitachi, as well as core component enterprises such as Mato and Lidel, all participated in the exhibition. Many elevator "black technologies" used this exhibition as a stage for their debut or first release.

The exhibition also attracted professional visitors from more than 20 countries and regions, including Germany and South Korea, to visit and negotiate.

At the exhibition site, Franz conducted a live demonstration of an active safety system inside a statically displayed elevator cabin. Relying on technologies such as millimeter-wave radar monitoring, active child locks, intelligent risk control, and IoT remote response, it can identify scenarios such as children riding the elevator alone, passengers falling, and malfunction-related entrapment.

Luo Chongning, Chairman of Franz Villa Home Elevators, said that safety is the core bottom line and foundation for development of home elevators. The brand will deeply cultivate a fully digital development path, relying on digital twins, AI intelligent empowerment, and C2M flexible manufacturing to solve the problem of customized production efficiency, reconstruct the full-chain safety system from design and production to service, and make safety a predictable and iterable underlying core capability.

During the exhibition, Franz signed a contract with the Guangzhou Design Week Red Cotton Design Award, added city agents in Nantong, Ningbo, and other cities, and completed strategic signings for overseas markets such as Russia and Vietnam.

At the signing site, Zhang Lexiang, Secretary-General of the 8th Council of the China Elevator Association, said that AI active safety technology has become a new direction for the upgrading of the home elevator industry, and the industry has entered a golden period of development featuring the integration of function and art; Shao Haibo, Vice President of Inovance Technology and President of the Elevator Products Business Unit, starting from the underlying logic of the control system, explained the future direction of the control system and interpreted how technological innovation drives the upgrading of home elevators toward greater safety, intelligence, and efficiency.
